Janis and I went to a convention in San Diego. The last night was on the USS Midway. They had a full big band, strings and all, so we got to dance on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier. Had a great time, If we had not taken dance lessons, probably would have never had taken advantage of the opportunity.

Antoinette and I were fortunate enough to have Melodie teach us both Ballroom and Swing beginner classes. She is an extremely adept teacher and her passion for dancing is contagious. We came up to speed unbelievably fast and enjoyed every minute of the 12 lessons. Ms. Carr dances because she has to and we highly recommend her classes. Not because you'll get three times the tuition at a fraction of the going rate, but because of something money can't buy: devoted skill displayed with unstoppable enthusiasm.

I received your ballroom dance lessons as a Christmas gift. My 16 year old grandson was eager to take the lesson with me. Melodie was so encouraging and complimentary to my grandson, he gained confidence with himself and interacting with adults outside his acquaintances. Melodie not only teaches a great dance class she builds character. He enjoyed it so much, he requested a certificate for Swing classes this Christmas. I recommend it for young as well as adults.

Melodie Carr is an excellent teacher of swing dance. She is very patient and works with the couple until they get the moves or steps down. I was a single in the class & she made sure I received the same instructions as the couples. When time & scheduling permits, I will be taking more dance class instructions with Melodie. Three years ago my husband and I needed "something" that was just ours. We checked out the dance classes and found yours available. We loved what we learned, and decided that we wanted our 4 teens to take dance lessons under your teaching. They loved dancing, and recently our son (15 yrs. old) mentioned that he'd like to take again as a refresher course.
